Using Free Samples to Save Money

The Internet has become a valuable source of information to assist you in your everyday life. And it’s no exception when you are trying to find ways to save a little extra money. There are many resources that can help you to find plenty of free stuff and discounted items from your local merchants. Some contain certain limitations, so it’s important to fully understand any deal you plan to take advantage of, such as the timeframe of the sale or whether or not different offers can be combined with each other.

One great way to find plenty of freebies and discounted items is to network with other people. Many social networking websites streamline this, and some allow users to create groups. These groups can be used to track the places that are featuring free samples and special sales. Once an item has been posted, you can use a simple search engine query to confirm its legitimacy. Then, you can spread this information to your other friends within the network and help them out.

Another great way to find free stuff online is to search your local listings for businesses that are just getting ready to open. Often, these businesses will provide many freebies, including services, products, and more out of an attempt to gain you as a customer. Some will also offer memberships that allow for a lifetime of savings. However, these specials typically only last for the first day, so it’s important to find out when they start as soon as possible.

The Web is also a fantastic way to find out what free events are happening in your area. A simple search can result in free concerts, movies, games, and other activities that will provide plenty of fun for the whole family. Additionally, these types of events typically feature sponsors that are giving away freebies to help promote their business. So not only are you having plenty of fun with your family, but you are also getting additional items, all at no cost. Some of these events require an advanced notice, so it’s important to obtain the details before it occurs.

You will also find plenty of free stuff on the Internet itself. These can be software programs that are digitally distributed at no charge, or coupons for free items at your local retailers. Seasonal items are especially prone to this, with winter clothes and decorations getting significant discounts at the start of spring or a retailer welcoming the season with plenty of buy one, get one free coupons. These deals can easily be found on the websites of most stores. Special offers can also be found for certain groups of people, including military personnel, college students, and senior citizens.

1st 7 Days Working With My Article Syndication System

When the people from Market Samurai announced their new article marketing tool, I was invited to participate in their initial test group, limited to 500 of us. Of course, I jumped at the chance!

Why was I so anxious? Well first off, I trust the Market Samurai people. I have always found them to be top notch in all that they do. So naturally I was curious about their latest product.

But moreover, it was because I’m a regular article marketer in my network marketing business, and was exasperated at the time it took to syndicate articles, and unhappy with the results I’d had with other tools. It is not that it was not working, it’s simply that the ratio of work to results was not as great as I might have liked.

In the days leading in to the release, their promotional/coaching videos touted the ease of use, speed of spinning and giant syndication, leading to what we all want: back-links, improved Google rankings and traffic.

I was hooked from the beginning. It was so easy to use! I kept wondering about whether I was even using it correctly, as it looked too straightforward. The spinning was automatic, and a breeze. They are not lying saying it only takes 10 minutes to spin a whole article, and that could be a quality spin.

When the spinning was through with, I clicked a “syndicate” button. And that was IT! Really, I spent hours on article spinning, submitting and modifying with my old systems. This couldn’t be any easier.

But Does It Work?

I submitted 6 articles over a one week period. They take a day or two to approve each article, then offer a status of “syndicating”. I could tell activity was taking place, as my inbox was loaded with pingback notifications, in a quantity that I hadn’t experienced before.

The Results

At the time of this writing, I’ve already built around 400 new backlinks for my site. Since they syndicate over time rather than all at the same time, this number will certainly grow swiftly over the approaching 1-2 months.

I am already ranking first page on Google for several new keywords, and I’m watching steady improvement on others. I have seen higher page rankings as well.

And that’s just with the articles I have submitted so far. I consider this an amazing success!

My Advice

It’s straightforward. It’s extraordinarily fast. The spins are perfect. A single click to submit. Fast, abounding backlinks. Front page Google rankings. Improving page rankings. What is not to love?

Automating your article syndication is a winner, and I haven’t even seen the full extent yet! I could not be more pleased, and thus I seriously recommend it to any person who needs to increase backlinks and traffic thru blogging and article promoting, the most convenient way I have seen, hands down.

If you’re already doing article marketing, or just getting started at it, get Article Samurai as fast as it is released (soon, I am told). I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

One of the most successful online promoting strategies is writing inspiration for blog posts and article directories.

I learned this technique from Ed Dale of The Challenge. It’s an article marketing tool.

You can use this technique even if you are not a writer and even if you do not know anything about your subject. It’s split into 3 parts, each 10 minutes in length. That’s correct. You need to use an inexpensive timer when you do it.

Day One

The 1st 10 minutes is to fill up your brain. Study your subject, getting all of the information you can in that 10 minutes.

Google it, check all of the relevant sources, copy and paste posts which are important to you into your post.

Bing. Let it sit for a day. O.K?

Day Two

On day 2, you repeat the analysis on some other subject for 10 minutes.

Second 10 minutes, take the info from yesterdays fuel up, you write article as speedily as possible Do not stop for misspellings, fat-fingerings, modifying” Do not stop for anything. You are using a free writing system and you just need your writing to flow.

Stop. Don’t touch it for the rest of the day..

On day 3

The last 10 minutes, you edit yesterday’s article, dump the fast-fingerings and misspellings and Voila! You’ve got an artcle ready to post on your blog or submit to an article directory.

From then on, every day you follow the same procedure.

10 minutes “Fuel up.

10 minutes “Free Write.

10 minutes “Edit.

Submit your edited copy to an article directory or post it on your blog.

Here’s another secret. Some article directories require you to submit to them first, so you might want to do research on this. However , if the same article appears in alternate sources, Google would give higher marks to its first appearance, which would make posting it on your blog first help you instead of the directory,

There is a way you can have your cake and eat it too. Put it on your blog, then rewrite it enough, so that you are sending a different article to the directory.

Now wasn’t that simple article marketing?

Slash your Grocery Bill with Coupons

The recent the global financial crisis, along with the global food crisis and the resulting rise in food costs, has led lots of people to look for more cost-effective methods to providing for themselves. There are several methods many people can save cash on necessities like household goods. Coupons have been in existence since the early twentieth century (introduced by the Coca-Cola Organization and popularized by C.W. Post) and do pose an affordable solution to having to pay excessively high costs in food markets and grocery stores; amazingly, numerous stores and retail outlets offer greater than a value of “buy one get one free” system, and the possible savings can border on 50% of the grocery trip’s cost.

It may surprise many that one of the methods to obtain discount coupons is through free newspapers. Publications like the area-specific local papers are filled with coupons from local retailers, and offer many deals like discounted meals, hotel stays, and even car washes.

The number of discounts available is nearly unlimited, but many people will discard it as rubbish. Local dealers, often struggling to make ends meet, will offer generous deals and you can reduce grocery bills by taking advantage of this. These sellers will most likely offer lower prices than your large supermarket chains to gain their point of difference.

Similarly, online coupons are a fantastic way to save cash. Many sites such as Coupons.com and Couponizer.com offer free discount coupons that can be printed and employed in stores. The price of a printed piece of paper weighed up against a guaranteed cost saving is in many instances a fantastic bargain and one that most people again don’t take into consideration.

Using coupons has long been the realm of prudent spenders, but it is by no means an unattractive habit; rather, it is an affordable alternative to the pricing of main retail outlets, and allows struggling families to afford necessities such as food and clothes while reducing the prices for services that would be out of the reach of many in this climate of global economic uncertainty. Many are unfortunately aware of the concept, but for persons looking to save money without a reduction in their quality of life, coupons represent the way to go, as they are cheap, free, and most importantly, they work.

Internet shopping has grown to be available from the privileged and rich to a widespread phenomenon, utilised by everybody from celebrities to those who struggle to survive. Stores like Amazon have realised the existence of this moneymaking opportunity and have gradually increased in size and renown. Yet as increasing numbers of people look for online deals on the web, the auction site eBay has become the symbol of quick, cheap and secure buying. The arrival of eBay “stores” has also led on to more assured security for consumers, in contrast to the unknown factor surrounding a purchase from a single seller.

Furthermore, the sheer range of items available on this online marketplace also makes it the favored destination for people on the hunt for novelty and limited edition items, which wouldn’t be available in physical stores.

Sellers also find eBay a haven for their secondhand items, as it provides a fairly cheap method of marketing products that might actually be thrown out; examples include home decor, furniture and clothing. Members can decide to set minimum prices for their items (from which people will increase their bids) and/or “Buy it now” prices; essentially, prospective buyers can take the chance of entering a bidding war with others or buy the selected item outright at a touch higher price. There is also the consequential aspect of selling; once a purchaser has received an item and are satisfied with it, the comments they make on the seller’s page are highly important to the future success of that seller. One feedback leads to a possible buyer considering a product, and before you know it, the vendor has masses of bids for one item.

eBay has attempted to provide some structure to this, introducing a system that ranks sellers based primarily on the quantity of items they sell, the type of feedback they receive, and the general manner in which they conduct their business. People who are able to meet extraordinarily high criteria are granted “Power Seller” standing, which essentially is a label that assures prospective purchasers of the sellers ‘ trustworthiness and past performance. This benefits both sellers and consumers, as buyers can gain security about their purchases while sellers are able to publicize their products as trustworthy. Customers have to be wary of shipping/handling costs nevertheless, as there are fees which are not clearly publicized on certain items; having said that, shipping costs are typically posted beside the item outline on the pages of established Power Sellers.

eBay’s utilisation of the Paypal system enables it to add further security for users, thanks to the in-built SSL technology which guarantees transaction security. Buyer protection is available, as a user can claim up to $20,000 if there’s been a faulty exchange.

The Net is becoming an essential tool for everyday life, and shopping is a quickly growing aspect of this. With the rise of eBay, the conventional marketplace may soon be phased out, as people can make purchasing and selling selections from the comfort of their own home.

Open source is attracting and great to work with. Well, who could say no to free stuff? Most open source software is so flexible that you can customise the standard edition to match your precise wishes by developing add-ons and modules.

This make open source CMS extremely popular.

That said non-public users and shop owners are forgetting big elements when choosing open source as their CMS for their homepage.

Here are 8 don’ts when choosing open source software for your CMS:

1. Don’t take for granted that your open source CMS is 100 percent secure. All software have issues and mess ups or security holes. If a CMS has a security flaw hackers will find them at some point soon.
2. Do not forget to keep you self updated on security holes in your CMS. Most open sources systems release updates on a regular basis “just like Windows or OSx. However not all systems check for updates instantly and some can’t install them by a simple click. Keep you self updated by opting-in to the open source team mailing list or Twitter account.
3. Do not forget who is accountable for updating your CMS. Maybe you have used your hosting suppliers 1 click installer or perhaps your web designer has installed the CMS for you. But do they update it for you? Rarely. Keep in mind it’s your responsibility that your CMS is updated with the newest security patches. However you could outsource the task to your webmaster, website development expert or website designer.
4. If your CMS do give you update alerts, then don’t neglect them. Systems like Umbraco and DotNetNuke has a function that checks if there’s updates available when you login. A system like WordPress also checks and by only a few click in the admin you can update your CMS very easily (don’t forget to backup before you update). Take the update alert seriously and update straight away.
5. Don’t forget to update third party modules. Another developer than the opensource team can develop modules on your CMS. These modules can also contain security issues. Just as you have to be updated on the CMS updates, you also need to be updated on updates on any of the third party modules your CMS use.
6. Don’t forget to team up with an expert or supporter. Keeping your system up to date can be difficult and laborious. If you team up with a consultant who is used to update your kind of open source system, you are able to save valuable time and concentrate on running your business. You can pay him monthly and he is going to make the updates when available, or your can pay by tasks.
7. Do not forget to have a robust password policy. This is really the biggest reason why hackers get access to systems. Weak passwords. Try to make long password, at least 8 characters with both numbers and letters. Do not use your name or zip plus city. If you find it hard to remember long passwords, attempt to make a sentence with a number, and then use the 1st letter of each word to make a password. E.g. “The Rabbit jumped over 4 Stones and 7 Flowers” makes the password TRjo4Sa7F
8. Do not forget to backup your full system “both files and database – constantly. You take for granted that your hosting supplier backups everything. Well they do, but mistakes happen even at the largest hosting suppliers. Also the hosting suppliers ‘ backup history is maybe only a couple of weeks. If your system gets hacked, the very first thing a hacker does is leaving a backdoor. After weeks perhaps months he returns and deface the hompage. When your hosting supplier revive from the newest backup the hack seems to be resolved on the surface, but the backdoor is still there.

If you choose a free open source CMS for your homepage, then remember that it do take some time to upkeep and update it. Outsourcing this part might be a brilliant idea.

Using Surveys to Supplement Your Income

Everyone is always looking to get extra cash the simplest way possible. With the surge of popularity of the web, this has been made feasible. Businesses have moved with the times and no longer utilize market research businesses to employ traditional methods of research like taste testing and studies by phone. But they are now using the web to perform their important research that helps them form business decisions for the future.

Nonetheless with the everyday users of the Web, merely putting a survey form on a company’s web page and requesting buyers to complete it, generally won’t give the standard and/or the volume of findings one needs to make educated business choices. So organizations have turned to compensating individuals with cash, sometimes outrageous amounts. Obviously this benefits the everyday shopper. By simply filling out a survey in the safety and comfort in your home you may be able to bring in a decent second income.

Nonetheless, you need to identify those that actually pay money and those that actually give rewards for answering these surveys. Whilst there maybe many organisations claiming to offer paid surveys, ensure that the company is reputable.

Money paid surveys in recent time has become a source of extra cash for many people. The lure, the convenience and security of not even having to leave your house appeals to many, especially young mums who are caring for their kids. The advantages of doing paid survey programs just makes logical sense.

But before you quit your current job and take on paid surveys full time, there are a few pointers and hints you should be aware of.

Firstly, select a few sites by doing extensive research that offer cash paid surveys and carefully read any terms and conditions that are being offered to you. There are sites that will offer you direct access to the marketing companies who process the surveys. If this is the case you will need to browse the list of companies and apply for the surveys you are interested in. Other sites have agreements with big marketing companies from which they receive the surveys and then distribute them through their registered users. In this case, you will have to wait for surveys to be sent to you to complete.

When you have chosen the business or companies that you would like to join, create an alternative e mail account to your personal account. This advice is similar to the one I share with people doing free samples looking. If for some reason you end up with a dodgy web site who are just trying to glean your personal information, at the very least you’ve given them non priority email account for them to trash.

Another thing to remember is that not all paid surveys are actually rewarded with money. Some surveys present alternative rewards such as a free product or a service, discounts at certain merchants, vouchers or coupons and free trials. There are even particular surveys that allow you to join a competition upon their completion which was recently demonstrated by a branded beauty product that gave you the chance to enter the competition if you completed the survey. If you are specifically after cash, it’s better to make this choice yourself in advance to avoid disappointment later. So make sure you read carefully what the reward actually is.

Again because personal information is required for payment, you must be very cautious who you choose to do your surveys with. Otherwise you could be spammed or scammed by dishonest operators taking advantage of your willingness to earn an extra buck.

Generally surveys are enjoyable and you have the knowledge that you help shape and influence future products and services. Go for it and check it out for yourself today.

The Right Way To Find Freebies Safely

What beats buying a new subscription to your favorite mag? Getting it for FREE! Do you love getting freebies? If that is the case this article might be just for you. After studying this article, you could be trying new samples and receiving mag subscriptions each week in the mail. Maybe you’re new to the whole Net thing. If that is so there is no need to be alarmed. We have all been there at some particular point.

The no. 1 thing is to start at this time and gain some valuable experience. We will lead you thru with some tips and hints to allow you to make your own judgment surrounding freebies. There are some first pointers you need to do to make your searching secure, less complicated and more successful. It is not tough to find free things online so long as you know where to look and you’ve got a couple of things set up to help in your freebie collecting.

First and most important, you need to set up one email address dedicated simply to enrolling for free offers. If you do not, you may likely finish up with a lot of spam and tasteless mail which will clutter your mail. Therefore don’t use your work email! There would be nothing worse than trying to explain to your boss why you have slowed the company’s server down with your freebies e-mail! Gmail is the best due to their increased security and antispam tools. To maximize most freebie and free trial offers I suggest using multiple email addresses because some offers only permit 1 sample per e-mail but not household address. By using more than one email you can receive the same offer 2 or 3 times.

This is particularly effective when companies are after mass entries in sweepstakes or one off trial samples are given away. Simply set up a new email account for everybody in your household for example as a way to get around this condition.

You can also find it useful to have a virtual voicemail. Lots of the freebies that you find may require a legitimate telephone number. Free accounts are instantly accessible at sites like evoice.com and are relatively simple to set up. All the messages left in your voicemail will be sent to you as an email or otherwise you can call and hear the messages if you like. By setting up a virtual voicemail you will avoid any telemarketers and sales people that might otherwise pester you.

Generally to receive free samples and other free stuff you’ll have to submit your name and contact details for each offer. Some offers need as little as your name and address, whilst others may ask for more information like your telephone number and e-mail. The Google form filler found on the Google Toolbar is very useful so you don’t keep filling in the same form repeatedly. It simplifies everything for you with one-click convenience. You must always try to read the terms and conditions wherever possible as your information could be sold onto other firms who will try to make a buck off you. If you’re pleased with their terms & conditions and privacy statement, then sign up away.

To find freebies and free samples online simply do a Google search. You will get many results when you search the terms, “freebie”, “free samples” and “free stuff”. In fact a search for the term “free stuff” returns with over 99 million results! Click the sites that interest you and apply the above guidelines before you sign up. If you can’t be bothered doing a search, there are free stuff sites that update frequently with fresh freebies. You can bookmark such sites like FreebiesBlogger.com. Sites like this take out the work for you.
